Welcome to my page! My name is Q*bert...

I started this blog to keep my family and friends in touch with my journey. I update the site from all four corners of the globe, and it's pretty much taken over my life now. I don't have any answers to any of the big questions, I don't really know what half the questions are. I do know that life isn't what you expect it to be. @!#?@!?

Met Chewbacca today!!!

February 7, 2011

Today was my lucky day! I just met chebacca!!! I have to tell you the story from the beginning... When I travel short distances in smaller countries i usually use postal carriers. This is definately the cheapest and most convenient way of shipping cause I hate crowds of people hustling me around! With the help of my friends I always box myself up in small cardboard boxes with discreet air holes to avoid attracting attention. This time I used DPD a German postal carrier. A @!#?@! experience! I should have choosen DHL cause the travel was not very convenient, the postal offiers were so @!#?@! rude!

Anyway I arrived at Jens house (yeah the guy who called himself the "true" Jens, the one I met at my latest interview date) in Wuppertal this morning. He invited me for a couple of days and as i cannot say "NO" I just came over. And what a BIG surprise: Chewbacca my old friend from outerspace lives at Jens' place!!!! After one or two hours of greeting, hugging and a couple of @!#?@! beers we made some nice pictures for you guys out there. You cannot imagine what a wave of joy suddenly overcame me meeting this wonderful guy again. By the way Chewie now calls himself Einstein, has a different hair colouring and also learned to creep and behave like a dog. This is to avoid the attraction of the registry- and finance office. Please don't tell this to anyone!

I now declare Wuppertal my NRW headquarter!
